Located in the heart of Fishkill, NY, The Dutchess Biercafe offers a vibrant and inviting dining experience that masterfully blends Belgian-inspired flavors with classic American comfort fare. This restaurant and bar specializes in a carefully curated menu designed to delight both beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Whether you’re settling in at the expansive patio on a sunny day or enjoying the charming indoor dining areas, the atmosphere complements the culinary journey on your plate.

The menu is a treasure trove of bold flavors and expertly crafted dishes. Beer aficionados will appreciate the diverse selection of brews, including the crisp Allagash White and the richly flavorful Delirium Red. Sample a flight to uncover your favorite, perfectly paired with your meal.

The heart of the menu lies in its juicy, 8 oz. signature burgers. The Dutchess Burger keeps it classic with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion on a fluffy brioche bun, while the French Onion Burger elevates indulgence with caramelized onions, gruyere, and a crispy onion ring smothered in malty aioli. For those craving something with a kick, the Angry Burger delivers a spicy glaze and pickled jalapeños that ignite the palate.

If handhelds are more your style, the Fried Chicken Alla Vodka sandwich is a revelation—crispy, tender fried chicken bathed in vodka sauce, complemented by burrata and basil mayo on brioche, crowned with pecorino cheese. The Chicken N Waffles Sandwich offers a delightful dance of savory and sweet, marrying Louisiana-style fried chicken with maple bacon jam and two Belgian waffles for an unforgettable bite.

No meal at The Dutchess Biercafe is complete without a nod to their exceptional sides and starters. Savor the perfectly crispy Brussels Sprouts, or dive into a comforting bowl of French Onion Soup bubbling with rich flavor. And for a sweet finish, the Deep Fried Oreos dusted with powdered sugar and the Waffle & Ice Cream drizzled with maple syrup make for decadent treats that bring the perfect close to your culinary adventure.

Decided to try this restaurant for lunch while in the area based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. Food, service and atmosphere was great! We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Amanda. Good came out, hot, fresh and fast. Great spot, check them out.

Went yesterday for lunch after hearing great things, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing — we had the brussels sprouts, burger, and mussels, and everything was cooked perfectly. Our server, Kaylee, was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. Best food and service we’ve had in a long time. This might just be our new Sunday spot!

This is a nice, Belgian-Beer-Themed place in Fishkill. Big selection of beer and also good food options. I had a poutine and while gravy and curds were great, I had wished for Belgian-Style fries. Belgium is the world capital for french fries - so you have big boots to fill selling fries in a Belgian-Themed venue.

Traditional "Pub" feeling. Regular customers and friendly welcoming staff. Excellent service. Amazing tap selection. (As a customer of a great many regionally themed taverns I was able to try beers I had never seen on tap!). The menu was nicely varied and had a few unique items. One of those being Bacon Apple Lentil soup. Freaking awesome. Smallish bar area. Two dining areas and a huge patio when the weather cooperates. Well worth a visit!

We got takeout from Dutchess Biercafe last night and everything was delicious. The everything pretzel appetizerwas delicious and the dipping sauces that it comes with were very tasty. The pierogi were cooked well and not overly dry; they came with a healthy serving of sauerkraut and I got a bratwurst on the side. The food was especially good considering it wasn't as fresh as it would have been if we had eaten in.

When the chicken sandwich came, I started to doubt my life. Is it really necessary? No. Should you order it? At least once in your life? Absolutely yes.
